This one tops my heartfelt stories. When we had just begin working with this couple, they learned that their two young boys both have a terminal, genetic disease. They bravely informed us that they are continuing the design project, because they want to have a family friendly, healing environment. I focused on comfy, oversized furniture for snuggles, storage for toys, and warm, layered lighting. I am guiding them on creating some wall art with the kids for their dining room.
